YIKES I need to update this place!

This is from my journal October 20th

have studied and prayed and studied and cried out to the Lord. I got a revelation the other day. It just HIT ME!

I started reading colossians...which for some reason led me to Phillipians 3.

We all know it....say it with me...
12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

yada yada yada....we can all say it forwards and backwards.

For some reason I have not seen this before....I guess cuz I have focused so much on "not that I have already obtained this.....or fogetting what is behind....straining...I press on....

This jumped off the page yesterday.

15All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

Only let us live up to what we have already attained. Ok so all this stuff that I haven't attained.....don't try to live up to that.

I am not Prov. 31 Woman. (not yet)I am not who I want to be (not yet) who I will be come is still "becoming". The full of me hasn't been "attained".

Only live up to what I have attained. I GET IT!
